6 Lessons from Mountain Climbing and Hiking

  1. The higher up you go, the more perspective you get. Get above the day-to-day to find vision for the future.

  2. Be a guide. Lead the way. But, also let others choose the path along the journey.

  3. Eagles fly alone. Buzzards flock together.

  4. Where would you stop on the way up without helpful peer pressure and group accountability?

  5. Bring others to the top to see the view.

  6. The descent is easier, but most injuries happen on the way down. Keep your focus and stay alert.
